Cookie policy

Effective date: August 22, 2026

This policy lists every cookie CollabGlam sets and what each one does. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics or tracking scripts on this site.

2. Cookies we set

  • Session cookie — set when you sign in, so the platform knows who you are on each request. Strictly necessary. Cleared when you sign out, and expires on its own after a period of inactivity.
  • Navigation preference — remembers whether you collapsed the sidebar, so the layout stays as you left it. Optional convenience; the platform works identically without it.
  • Cookie notice acknowledgement — records that you have seen the cookie notice, so we do not show it on every page. Without it, the notice would reappear indefinitely.

These are first-party cookies: they are set by collabglam.com and are readable only by collabglam.com. They are the complete list — our analytics adds none.

3. What we do not use

We want to be specific rather than vague, because most cookie notices are not.

  • No advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No social media tracking pixels.
  • No cross-site profiling, and no sale or sharing of browsing data.
  • No session recording. We do not replay what you did on the site.

We do measure how the site is used, and we do it without cookies. Our analytics runs in a mode that stores no cookie and no identifier in your browser at all. It counts page views, records the page you arrived from, and derives an approximate location from your IP address — country and city, not an address. Because nothing is stored on your device, it cannot recognise you on a later visit and cannot follow you to any other website.

If that ever changes — if we ever want analytics that can recognise a returning visitor — this policy will be updated before the change takes effect, and you will be asked to choose rather than simply told.

4. Controlling cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the session cookie will sign you out and prevent you from signing back in, because the platform has no other way to maintain a signed-in session.

Clearing your browser storage also clears your acknowledgement of the cookie notice, so you will see it again on your next visit.

5. Who processes this

Our analytics is provided by PostHog, configured so that it receives only the page you viewed, the page you came from, your browser and device type, and the country and city derived from your IP address. It receives no cookie or identifier from your browser, because none is set, and no account details.

Requests reach PostHog through collabglam.com rather than directly, so nothing leaves this site that we have not sent ourselves.
